Basikol® contains phytosterols (plant sterols) which when used according to directions, and in conjunction with advice from your healthcare practitioner, may assist with managing the daily intake of dietary cholesterol. Plant sterols are also used in cholesterol lowering margarines however the availability of plant sterols in Basikol capsules avoids the intake of margarine or other highly processed fats.

200mg naturally derived plant sterols per capsule
2.5mg of natural Vitamin E

Directions for Use
The normal dosage is 2 capsules of Basikol twice daily with meals. If 3 heavy meals are eaten per day, 2 capsules may be taken with each meal.

The normal dosage of Basikol provides a daily intake of 0.8mg of natural phytosterols.

Precautions, Contraindications and Side Effects
No statistically significant side effects have been recorded during the decades of studies devoted to the effects of phytosterols.

Vitamins can only be of assistance if the dietary vitamin intake is inadequate.
Use only as directed. Always read the label. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner.
