How long have you been in business?
AHS (Australia) was established in October 1995, and we were one of the first on-line secure health stores in Australia, launching our first shopping site in March 1996. We now have a database of well over 7,000 customers.
Where are you located?
We are based in Sydney, Australia. To keep prices low, we do not have a retail outlet. Many of our products are shipped direct from our suppliers, therefore it is not possible for you to pick up your order.
Where do you ship to?
We send orders all over Australia as well as New Zealand, and many other countries around the world.
How secure is your site?
We take on-line security very seriously. Our site offers up to *256bit encryption technology (the highest available) installed on a dedicated secure server.
(*most browsers are only capable of 128bit at this stage)
How can I tell if your site is secure?
In Internet Explorer, you will see a lock icon in the security status bar. The security status bar is located on the right side of the address bar. A security certificate is used to encrypt the connection and also contains information about the identity of the website owner or organisation. You can click the lock to view the identity of the website. Internet Explorer uses an encrypted protocol called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to access secure webpages. These pages use the prefix HTTPS, while regular webpages use HTTP.
How do you choose your products?
We practise what we preach, and use most of our products. We choose only the best quality manufacturers, and avoid the lesser quality discount brands. In other words, there is nothing on this site that we would not give to our own family!
How do you ship my order?
Australian orders up to 3kg in weight are shipped via traceable Australia Express Post. Larger orders ship via Registered Post. All overseas orders ship via EMS International Courier or International Registered Post.
How long will my order take to arrive?
For Australian orders sent via Express Post, it will take 1-2 days to get your order. 98% of orders are processed and shipped the same day you place them, and are delivered next day if the items are in stock. Sometimes there may be a delay of a few days if a particular item is on back-order. We will let you know if there is going to be a longer delay.
How safe is my personal information?
All your personal information is recorded via our secure server using state of the art encryption coding. We do not sell, rent or share any of your personal information.
Can I return items?
In some cases, yes - please see our Returns Policy under "Terms & Conditions".
What's enteric coated capsules mean?
The top quality intestinal supplements use these capsules to stop your digestive system breaking the capsules down until they reach the lower intestinal tract, where they are needed. Otherwise your stomach acid will destroy the product you just paid for!
Do you give medical advice?
No - we are not qualified to offer any medical advice. Please consult with your health care practitioner if you have any such queries. We can put you in touch with a qualified naturopath via telephone only for specific product information.
I can't find my country on your shipping list - why not?
Many countries do not have safe and secure postal services, or may have strict Customs and Import restrictions.
I can't find a specific product - can you get it in for me?
We would be happy to have a look for any specific product, but be aware that most overseas products have not been manufactured to our high standards, and can not legally be imported for re-sale by us.

Where have all your research articles gone?
We were forced by the Australian Government to remove all research data, articles and links from our web sites in 2007. The reasons given that as we also sold product, consumers would make links between the articles and the various products we sell.
