Licorice Root (glycyrrhiza glabra) - 100 caps
Liquorice is seen as one of the primary adrenal tonics in herbal medicine. It also has a range of other actions including anti-inflammatory, expectorant, an anti-tussive demulcent and mild laxative. Liquorice has a long history of use in relieving respiratory conditions such as coughs and catarrh.
It also assists in the function of the adrenal gland where it is thought to increase blood sugar levels and therefore helping reduce fatigue.
Therapeutic Use
Has traditionally been used to help remove catarrh and temporarily relieve coughs by loosening mucous and assisting with expectoration. Traditionally used to help digestion and provide relief of mild digestive disorders such as indigestion, distension, belching, and flatulence.
Active Ingredients
Each ‘preservative free’ capsule contains 425mg of Liquorice Powder.
Dosage
For adults: take two capsules with a meal three times daily. For children under 12 years: take one capsule with a meal three times daily. Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice.
Caution
