Mullein (verbascum thapsus) - 100 caps
Mullein has an affinity for the respiratory tract. Its astringent actions can help to tone the mucous membranes and traditionally Mullein has been used to assist in reducing inflammation and facilitating expectoration. It has also been used for inflammation of the trachea due to its demulcent and anti-inflammatory properties.
In Ayurvedic medicine Mullein is used to relieve coughs.
Therapeutic Use
A traditional ‘expectorant’ herb to provide temporary relief of mild lung congestion and coughs.
Active Ingredients
Each ‘preservative free’ capsule contains 320mg of Verbascum thapsus leaf powder.
Dosage
For adults: take three to six capsules with a meal three times daily, depending on severity of symptoms. For children aged 6-12 years: take two capsules with a meal three times daily. Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice.
