Nature’s Sunshine Pygeum 10000 contains Pygeum bark extract and dose which has been shown to help relieve the symptoms of medically diagnosed benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).
Pygeum extract may assist in the management of BPH symptoms such as increase in day and night time urinary frequency, difficulty in starting urination and a weak and or interrupted urine flow, and improved bladder emptying.
Native to Africa, Pygeum bark has been used for hundreds of years as a traditional remedy for aiding the symptoms of “old man’s disease” (benign enlargement of the prostate). Symptoms arise as the progressive enlargement of the prostate gland partially constricts the flow of urine from the bladder through the urethra, which may result in problems with urine flow and bladder emptying. Many different factors seem to play a role in benign enlargement of the prostate gland as men age (50’s – 70’s) and they are still not completely understood or defined.
Pygeum contains several botanical constituents that scientists believe work together to help alleviate the symptoms that result from the structural and biochemical changes that occur as part of BPH. Pygeum also supports the healthy function and physiology of the prostate gland and male bladder.

Active Ingredients
Each capsule contains herbal extract equivalent to dry:
- Pygeum africana (Pygeum) stem bark 10,000mg (10g), std. to
sitosterol and sitosterol glycosides and docosyl ferulate
(of Prunus africana).
Dosage
For adults: Take one to two capsules daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
