Willow Bark (salix alba) - 90 caps
Willow Bark contains salicin, which the body converts to salicylic acid and has the same effect on the body as aspirin. In fact, Willow Bark was the basis for the synthesis of aspirin. History of usage of Willow Bark goes back as far as 500 BC when ancient Chinese healers began using it to control pain.
White Willow Bark is still beneficial today as an anti-inflammatory, an analgesic, an anti-rheumatic, and to help reduce fevers. Specifically, it helps to relieve headaches and eases pain associated with inflammatory conditions such as rheumatism and arthritis.
Therapeutic Use
For the relief of muscular aches and pains. For temporary relief of lower back pain, osteoarthritic and rheumatic pain. May also help reduce fever associated with minor ailments and provide temporary relief of headaches.
Active Ingredients
Each `Preservative Free` capsule contains extract equiv. dry Salix alba bark 4.95g standardised to contain no less than 62.5mg Salicin.
Dosage
For Adults take one to two capsules with a meal twice daily. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.
Caution
Not recommended for people who have an allergy or sensitivity to salicylates or aspirin. Use with caution if breastfeeding.
